Course Requirement : PC/Laptop - Installed with AutoCAD 2025 or below year (we may also install a 30days trial version of AutoCAD)


This course introduces learners to the fundamental tools and functions of Autodesk AutoCAD for creating precise technical drawings and design layouts. Students will learn basic drafting techniques, coordinate systems, and essential commands used in 2D design. opening02𝗗𝗼𝗵𝗮, 𝗤𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿 - 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗢𝗪𝗪𝗔) - 𝗤𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿, 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝘂𝘇𝘃𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗖. 𝗧𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗮𝗻, successfully conducted the orientation program for the free training on various ICT short courses. The event was supported by the 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 and attended by the 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲́ 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗿

The free training which will run for approximately eight weeks will offer courses on computer installation and auto-cad, designed to equip OFWs with essential technical knowledge and hands on office management administration skills to address computer-related problems and enhance their professional competencies.

A total of 𝟱𝟳 𝗢𝗙𝗪𝘀 attended the session, demonstrating their eagerness to improve their technical proficiency. The activity aimed to help participants gain practical understanding of system setup, hardware and software configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting—skills vital for today’s technology-driven workplaces.Opening01

The training was made possible through the partnership with 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗧𝗘𝗤 (𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗤𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿), an organization composed of Filipino IT professionals in Doha. FILTEQ, founded on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟯 , was represented by its 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮, and 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Training Program is a free computer literacy initiative led by the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and OWWA–Qatar, in partnership with FILTEQ. It is open to all Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Qatar and aims to enhance and upgrade their computer skills. Classes are conducted every Friday at the Migrant Workers Office.
